New Fisher House is coming to the John Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit
As you may be aware, our Chapter has endorsed Motor City Veterans Village (MCVV) and its efforts, in concert with Fisher House Michigan, to bring a Fisher House to the John Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit. This will be the second Fisher House in our state following on the wheels of the Ann Arbor Fisher House approved in 2016.
Our Chapter is 100% in support of this project, Fisher House Michigan, and Motor City Veteran's Village, as seen in our endorsement earlier this year. Today I am asking you to consider the maximum donation you or the company you represent can make to Fisher House Michigan to bring these two Fisher Houses to reality as quickly as possible.
Attached you will find additional information on the Memorial Day Match Campaign by which every dollar raised between 1 May 2018 and 30 June 2018 will be doubled as a result of the generous gifts of various friends of Fisher House Michigan. To designate your contribution to either the Ann Arbor House or Detroit House, simply indicate a restriction on its use on the Pledge Card and on your accompanying check.
